Welcome to CRAG Online, the website for the Chiswick Recycling Action Group

CRAG was set up in November 2002 by the London Borough of Hounslow’s Recycling Team. CRAG is a group of Chiswick residents whose aims are to initiate and encourage local participation in reducing, reusing and recycling waste in Chiswick.”

The group is open to everyone and new members are always welcome. Meetings are held once a month on a Wednesday evening, usually at Chiswick Town Hall. For information on current projects and meeting dates, residents can look at the notice board at the Recycling Centre in Sainsbury’s car park (Essex Place, Chiswick). For more details, email info@crag-online.org.uk or contact the Recycling Team on 020 8583 5555. To find out more about CRAG's activities over the past year, and its impact on local recycling volumes, view the minutes of recent meetings.

NEXT MEETING: Wednesday 17 September, 7.30pm at Chiswick Town Hall

The Chiswick Recycling Directory
Chiswick residents may well be surprised by just how much we can reuse and recycle in the local area; also by the interesting and practical ways that many materials and products can be reused locally, nationally and internationally. In future, instead of throwing anything away, residents will be able to check with the The Chiswick Recycling Directory to see if an item can be recycled or anyone else can make use of it. You can collect a copy from Chiswick Library, and the following locations: As Nature Intended (201 Chiswick High Rd), Holland & Barrett (416 Chiswick High Rd), The Natural Cafe (216 Chiswick High Rd), The Natural Food Store (42 Turnham Green Terrace), West 4 Printers (8 Essex Place).

UPDATES: See our comprensive A to Z listing for the latest information on how to recycle your unwanted items, and check out what recycled products are now available.
